THIS IS AN ANNOUNCEMENT FOR THE MSCI GLOBAL STANDARD INDEXES

ADDITION OF THE TEXAS STOCK EXCHANGE TO THE LIST OF ELIGIBLE STOCK EXCHANGES FOR THE MSCI USA EQUITY UNIVERSE

MSCI will add the Texas Stock Exchange ("TXSE") to the list of eligible stock exchanges for the USA in the MSCI Global Investable Market Indexes Methodology, with effect from July 6, 2026, when the exchange is scheduled to commence continuous trading.

Securities with a primary listing on TXSE will be eligible for inclusion in the MSCI Global Investable Market Indexes (GIMI) subject to meeting all other index inclusion requirements, in accordance with the MSCI GIMI methodology.

Following this update, the eligible stock exchanges for the USA in Appendix I: Equity Markets and Universe of the MSCI GIMI methodology will be: New York Stock Exchange, Nasdaq Stock Market, NYSE American, NYSE Arca, Cboe BZX Exchange, and Texas Stock Exchange.

The updated MSCI GIMI methodology will be made available on the MSCI website at www.msci.com/methodologies. A separate update to the MSCI Index Calculation Methodology reflecting the addition of TXSE exchange-level pricing data will be published in due course, following the confirmation of TXSE's closing price mechanism and relevant exchange codes.
