UPDATE TO THE MSCI JAPAN IMI HIGH FREE CASH FLOW YIELD 50 SELECT INDEX METHODOLOGY

MSCI announced today that the methodology book for the MSCI Japan IMI High Free Cash Flow Yield 50 Select Index (Index Code: 757759) has been updated to reflect the following changes, effective June 1, 2026:

   - The FCF Yield metric has been replaced with a 3-year Average FCF Yield
   - Securities with any negative FCF in the last 3 fiscal years are excluded
   - An active industry group constraint of +/-10% has been added, alongside the existing active sector constraint of +/-20%
