CONSULTATION ON MSCI FIXED INCOME INDEXES

MSCI announced today the launch of a consultation with a series of proposals to update the MSCI Fixed Income Indexes methodology.

The proposals cover:

- Changes to how coupon cashflows are recognized in the total return calculation of the MSCI Fixed Income Indexes.
- Introduction of a liquidity screen to improve replicability of the MSCI Corporate Bond Indexes.
- Inclusion of 2nd Lien Bonds in the MSCI Corporate Bond Indexes.
- Methodology Updates for MSCI Selection Corporate Bond Indexes, MSCI Climate Action Corporate Bond Indexes and MSCI Climate Paris Aligned PAB Corporate Bond Indexes.
