UPDATES TO THE MSCI CORPORATE EVENTS METHODOLOGY AND MSCI INDEX CALCULATION METHODOLOGY BOOKS

Please note that the MSCI Corporate Events Methodology and MSCI Index Calculation Methodology books have been updated to reflect the  changes in capital gains tax treatment of Indian stock dividends based on the results of the consultation announced on July 28, 2025. As a reminder, MSCI will implement the new capital gain tax treatment for all Indian stock dividends effective on or after August 27, 2025, coinciding with August 2025 Index Review.
