THIS IS AN ANNOUNCEMENT FOR THE MSCI GLOBAL STANDARD INDEXES

UPDATE TO CERTAIN MSCI ACWI IMI SDG SELECT INDEX METHODOLOGY BOOKS

MSCI announced today that the methodology books listed below have been updated to apply the following enhancements effective at the February 2025 Index Review:

- Apply an exclusion for companies that derive 10% or more aggregate revenue from oil and gas related activities.
- Apply an exclusion for companies that derive 50% or more aggregate revenue from fossil-fuel based (thermal coal, liquid fuel, natural gas) power generation.

The list of methodology books updated is as follows:

- MSCI ACWI IMI SDG 6 Clean Water and Sanitation Select Index Methodology
- MSCI ACWI IMI SDG 7 Affordable and Clean Energy Select Index Methodology
- MSCI ACWI IMI SDG 9 Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure Select Index Methodology
- MSCI ACWI IMI SDG 11 Sustainable Cities and Communities Select Index Methodology
- MSCI ACWI IMI SDG 12 Responsible Consumption and Production Select Index Methodology
- MSCI ACWI IMI SDG Impact Select Index Methodology
- MSCI ACWI IMI SDG Social Fairness Select Index Methodology
