UPDATE ON THE IMPLEMENTATION OF DECARBONIZATION TRAJECTORY ADJUSTMENTS FOR MSCI EQUITY CTB/PAB INDEXES

As previously announced, MSCI will implement the default approach to adjust the decarbonization trajectory, in accordance with Section 5.2: Decarbonization trajectory adjustment, of the MSCI EU CTB/PAB Index Framework, at the November 2025 Index Review.

The MSCI Equity CTB/PAB indexes in scope are those that have significant changes in the calculation methodology of GHG intensity from the following standard MSCI index methodologies:

 - MSCI Climate Paris Aligned Indexes Methodology
 - MSCI Climate Change Indexes Methodology
 - MSCI EU CTB/PAB Overlay Indexes Methodology

MSCI will provide the list of indexes for which the decarbonization trajectory has been adjusted when the pro-forma rebalancing results are announced.
