THIS IS AN ANNOUNCEMENT FOR THE MSCI GLOBAL STANDARD INDEXES

SEMI-ANNUAL REVIEW OF THE MPFA INVESTMENT RESTRICTIONS FOR THE MSCI HONG KONG MPF INDEXES

According to Section 3.4 of the MSCI Hong Kong Mandatory Provident Fund (MPF) Indexes Methodology book, to ensure that the MSCI Hong Kong MPF Indexes accurately reflect the Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Authority (MPFA) regulatory requirements, MSCI reviews the MPFA investment restrictions twice a year coinciding with the May and November Index Reviews.

MSCI has reviewed the Hong Kong MPFA investment restrictions as part of the November 2025 Index Review and the following Hong Kong MPFA investment restrictions will remain unchanged:

1. Eligible Securities
2. Eligible Stock Exchanges
3. Single Issuer Concentration Limit
4. Hong Kong Dollar Currency Exposure
