THIS IS AN ANNOUNCEMENT FOR THE MSCI GLOBAL STANDARD INDEXES

MSCI TO DISCONTINUE THE MSCI WORLD REAL ESTATE INDEX (MSCI INDEX CODE: 106824) EFFECTIVE NOVEMBER 1, 2023

MSCI announced on May 30, 2023 that it will postpone, until further notice, the discontinuation of the MSCI World Real Estate Index (MSCI Index Code: 106824). This index was based on the Real Estate industry group (6010) of the previous structure of the Global Industry Classification Standard (GICS), and effective June 1, 2023, following the implementation of the new GICS structure in the MSCI Equity Indexes, the index has been calculated based on the Real Estate sector (60). MSCI will discontinue the MSCI World Real Estate Index (MSCI Index Code: 106824) effective November 1, 2023.

As a reminder, the calculation of the MSCI World Real Estate Index (MSCI Index Code: 132085) based on the Real Estate sector (60) will continue.
