THIS IS AN ANNOUNCEMENT FOR THE MSCI GLOBAL STANDARD INDEXES

On June 03, 2026, Space Exploration Technologies (SpaceX) filed an amended S-1 in connection with its Initial Public Offering (IPO) of Class A common shares on the NASDAQ Stock Exchange.

According to the S-1 filing, SpaceX plans to offer 555,555,555 Class A common shares at an expected IPO price of USD 135.00 per share.

The final pricing is expected to be disclosed on June 11, 2026 and the first trading day of SpaceX on the NASDAQ Stock Exchange is anticipated for June 12, 2026.

As per Section 8.1.3 of the MSCI Corporate Events Methodology, early inclusions of large IPOs in the MSCI Global Standard Indexes are announced no earlier than the first day of trading and no later than before the opening of the third day of trading in the market where the company has its primary listing.

MSCI intends to apply its standard methodology for large IPOs, as described in Section 6 of the MSCI Corporate Events Methodology. As a reminder, in order for an IPO to qualify for an early inclusion to the Standard Index, a security must meet the index constituent eligibility rules and guidelines described in Section 2.2 of the MSCI GIMI Methodology with the exception of the length of trading and liquidity screens, and must have a company full market capitalization of at least 1.8 times the Interim Market Size-Segment Cutoff and a free float-adjusted market capitalization of at least 1.8 times one-half of the Interim Market Size-Segment Cutoff as of the close of its first or second trading day.

Any over-allotment (also called green shoe) publicly announced as exercised prior to MSCI's announcement on the first or second trading day would be included in the IPO's market capitalization calculations.

If the decision is made to include an IPO as per the early inclusion rules, the decision is effective as of the close of the security's tenth day of trading.
