THIS IS AN ANNOUNCEMENT FOR THE MSCI GLOBAL STANDARD INDEXES

TREATMENT OF INVESTMENT SANCTIONS ON YANGZHOU YANGJIE ELECTRONIC TECHNOLOGY CO LTD IN THE MSCI INDEXES

On April 23, 2026, the Council of the European Union added Yangzhou Yangjie Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. to Annex I to Council Regulation (EU) No 269/2014 of 17 March 2014 concerning restrictive measures in respect of actions undermining or threatening the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine, as amended by Council Implementing Regulation (EU) 2026/509 of 23 April 2026.

Under Article 2(2) of Council Regulation (EU) No 269/2014 of 17 March 2014, no funds or economic resources shall be made available, directly or indirectly, to or for the benefit of natural or legal persons, entities or bodies listed in Annex I.

In light of previous market feedback and resulting MSCI determination, MSCI will delete YANGZHOU YANGJIE ELEC A (MSCI Security Code: 97459.01 / RIC: 300373.SZ) from the MSCI China A Onshore Indexes and from relevant non-market capitalization weighted indexes and custom indexes as of the close of May 11, 2026 (effective May 12, 2026).

YANGZHOU YANGJIE ELEC A represents 0.08% of the MSCI China A Onshore Index (based on data as of May 6, 2026).

Additionally, YANGZHOU YANGJIE A(HK-C) (MSCI Security Code: 97459.02 / RIC: 300373.ZK) will no longer be eligible for inclusion in the MSCI China or the MSCI China All Shares Indexes until further notice.

The changes will be reflected in the MSCI Advance Corporate Events (ACE) files starting May 8, 2026.

MSCI reminds users of its indexes for any purpose, including both indexed and active management, that they are responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable sanctions and any other rules, regulations, prohibitions, laws, and other restrictions applicable to their portfolios, trading, and other investment activity.
