THIS IS AN ANNOUNCEMENT FOR THE MSCI GLOBAL STANDARD INDEXES

MSCI TO DISCONTINUE MSCI RUSSIA 10/40 INDEX (MSCI INDEX CODE: 127334)

In light of MSCI's treatment of recent sanctions targeting Russian companies as announced on April 28, 2022, MSCI will suspend the calculation and delivery of the MSCI Russia 10/40 Index (MSCI Index Code: 127334) effective May 6, 2022. The index will fail to have the minimum number of group entities once the announced treatment is implemented.

As it is unlikely that the index will have enough securities in the near future for ongoing index maintenance, MSCI will discontinue the index as part of the May 2022 Semi-Annual Index Review (effective June 1, 2022).
