THIS IS AN ANNOUNCEMENT FOR THE MSCI GLOBAL STANDARD INDEXES

(Re: Announcement sent on September 30, 2025, with Sequence number: 00768.ALL)

To mitigate the risk of potential reverse turnover at the May 2026 Index Review arising from the implementation of the enhanced float rounding methodology, MSCI will apply only significant free float changes at the February 2026 Index Review.

Specifically, at the February 2026 Index Review, MSCI will implement only the following Foreign Inclusion Factor (FIF) or Domestic Inclusion Factor (DIF) related changes for existing constituents:

- Absolute changes in the FIF/DIF of 0.15 or more

- Decreases in the FIF/DIF for securities with a pro forma FIF/DIF of less than 0.15

- Decreases on account of changes in Foreign Ownership Limit (FOL) or adjustment factors applied to the FIF/DIF

For securities where FIF/DIF changes are not implemented as part of the February 2026 Index Review, MSCI will also not implement changes in the Number of Shares (NOS).

For new index additions, FIF will be calculated and implemented based on the current methodology as part of the February 2026 Index Review.

All remaining FIF/DIF changes will be implemented as part of the May 2026 Index Review based on the enhanced free float adjustment factor methodology. As a reminder, the enhancements to the free float adjustment factor methodology will be implemented in full and in one step at that time.

MSCI will issue further communication, if applicable, regarding the implementation of Corporate Events based on the enhanced free float adjustment factor methodology, as well as a new simulation list of potential impact cases, in conjunction with the February 2026 Index Review.

The MSCI Global Investable Market Indexes methodology book will be updated to incorporate the enhanced free float adjustment factor methodology on or before March 31, 2026. As a reminder, as part of the rounding methodology change, MSCI will:

- Introduce three free float levels: 'high' above 25%, 'low' from 5% to 25% and 'very low' less than 5%.

- Increase free float adjustment factor precision by rounding free float adjustment factors to the closest 2.5%, 0.5%, and 0.1%, for the 'high', 'low' and 'very low' free float levels respectively.

- Enhance Index stability by introducing buffers of +- 2.5%, +- 0.5%, and +- 0.1%, measured relative to the latest free float adjustment factor, for the 'high', 'low' and 'very low' free float levels respectively.
