UPDATE TO THE MSCI MINIMUM VOLATILITY INDEXES METHODOLOGY

MSCI announced today that the methodology book for MSCI Minimum Volatility Indexes has been updated to reflect the enhancements effective August 2025 Index Review. These enhancements include rebalancing frequency change from semi-annual to quarterly while keeping the annual turnover budget the same, use of latest risk model data and change in the order of the relaxation steps. The updated methodology documents are now available at: https://www.msci.com/index-methodology
