THIS IS AN ANNOUNCEMENT FOR THE MSCI GLOBAL STANDARD INDEXES

INELIGIBILITY OF XP INC IN THE MSCI INDEXES

XP Inc has completed an initial public offering (IPO) of its Class A common
shares on the NASDAQ Stock Exchange and started trading on December 11, 2019.

XP Inc is incorporated in Cayman Islands and will list in the USA only. Based on
a set of criteria underlined in the Appendix III of the MSCI Global Investable
Market Indexes Methodology, Brazil has been determined as XP Inc's Country of
Classification (COC).

As per Appendix IV of the MSCI Global Investable Market Indexes Methodology,
foreign listings of companies classified in Brazil are currently ineligible for
inclusion to the MSCI Global Investable Market Indexes. Consequently, MSCI will
treat XP Inc as ineligible and will not evaluate it for early inclusion into the
MSCI Indexes at the time of the IPO.
