The equity market in Kuwait was unexpectedly closed on March 1, 2026 and resumed trading on March 2, 2026. The equity market in United Arab Emirates was unexpectedly closed on March 2, 2026 and will continue to be closed on March 3, 2026.

As per Appendix VII: Closing Prices Policy of the MSCI Index Calculation Methodology, in case of market closure or if a security does not trade on a specific day or within a specific period, MSCI carries the latest available closing price to calculate indexes.

Additionally, in the event there was a market outage, Appendix VII provides that MSCI will use the prices provided up to the point of the outage of that market for calculation of MSCI indexes on that day if available.

MSCI also confirms that all changes associated with the February 2026 Index Review were implemented in the MSCI Equity Indexes as scheduled and in accordance with MSCI's published index methodology effective March 2, 2026.

MSCI continues to closely monitor the situation across affected markets and will provide further communication as required.
