ANNOUNCEMENT FOR THE MSCI SELECT SCREENED INDEXES

MSCI announced today that the MSCI Select Screened Indexes implemented the following enhancements at the February 2026 Index Review:

1. Update to the screening criteria
- The screen for nuclear weapons was adjusted to exclude only companies that:
  - Manufacture nuclear warheads or missiles; or
  - Manufacture components for exclusive use in warheads and missiles.
- The screens for conventional weapons will no longer be applied.

2. Enhancement to the GHG Intensity Reduction process
- The MSCI Select Screened Indexes introduced a 12-month waiting period before a company excluded due to the GHG Intensity Reduction process can be eligible again.

- MSCI USA Select Screened Index (MSCI Index Code: 737014)
- MSCI Japan Select Screened Index (MSCI Index Code: 737013)
- MSCI Canada Select Screened Index (MSCI Index Code: 748951)
- MSCI World Select Screened Index (MSCI Index Code: 737010)
- MSCI ACWI Select Screened Index (MSCI Index Code: 738671)
- MSCI China A Inclusion Select Screened Index (MSCI Index Code: 748952)
- MSCI EM Asia Select Screened Index (MSCI Index Code: 746985)

The enhancements were implemented as part of the February 2026 Index Review, effective March 02, 2026
