MSCI TO CONSULT ON THE REPLICABILITY AND CLASSIFICATION OF THE MSCI ARGENTINA
INDEXES

Following the announced imposition of capital controls in Argentina on September
1, 2019, MSCI is consulting on the replicability and the classification of the
MSCI Argentina Indexes.

As a reminder, the MSCI Argentina Indexes are currently classified as part of
Emerging Markets. The introduction of restrictive measures, such as capital or
foreign exchange controls, may result in material deterioration of an equity
market's accessibility. Hence, the recent action by the Argentine government
could lead to the removal of the MSCI Argentina Indexes from Emerging Markets.

MSCI welcomes feedback from market participants on this consultation until
December 13, 2019. The results of the consultation will be announced by December
31, 2019.
