THIS IS AN ANNOUNCEMENT FOR THE MSCI GLOBAL STANDARD INDEXES

On January 9, 2020 SAUDI ARAMCO announced the exercise of the over-allotment
option for 450,000,000 ordinary shares.

The 450,000,000 shares subject to the over-allotment option were allocated to
investors during the book building process. After further analysis in light of
this event, and as part of the February 2020 Quarterly Index Review (effective
March 2, 2020) the Foreign Inclusion Factor (FIF) and Domestic Inclusion Factor
(DIF) for SAUDI ARAMCO will change from 0.005 to 0.006.

As previously announced, in the calculation of SAUDI ARAMCO's FIF/ DIF, MSCI
will consider the retail investor allocation as non-free float until the
expiration of the 180-day bonus holding period. Subsequently, the treatment of
the retail investors in the calculation of FIF/DIF will be reviewed as part of
the August 2020 Quarterly Index Review.
