UPDATE TO THE METHODOLOGY BOOK FOR THE MSCI SELECT COMMODITY PRODUCERS INDEXES

MSCI announced today that the methodology book for the MSCI Select Commodity
Producers Indexes has been updated to reflect the methodology enhancements for
the MSCI ACWI Select Silver Miners Investable Market Index.

The methodology for the MSCI ACWI Select Silver Miners Investable Market Index
has been enhanced to improve the overall capacity and liquidity of the index by
reducing the target number of constituents, allowing inclusion of large and
mid-cap constituents with a GICS Classification of Gold, as well as re-arranging
the selection rules to prioritize selection of ACWI IMI constituents over Micro
Cap constituents.
