REMINDER: EXCLUSION OF COMPANIES INVOLVED IN THERMAL COAL DISTRIBUTION FROM MSCI EQUITY EU PAB INDEXES

As part of the May 2025 Index Review, MSCI will exclude companies flagged by MSCI ESG Research for involvement in thermal coal distribution from MSCI Equity indexes that are labelled as EU Paris-Aligned Benchmarks (PABs).

This is a reminder of the communication sent on December 16, 2024, which announced the additional exclusion of companies involved in thermal coal distribution from MSCI Equity PAB Indexes at the next regularly scheduled MSCI Index Review.
