UPDATE ON THE POTENTIAL IMPACT OF BREXIT ON THE FOREIGN OWNERSHIP LIMITS IN THE MSCI EQUITY INDEXES

On December 31, 2020, the transition period for the United Kingdom's (UK) withdrawal from the European Union (EU) ended.

Following this date, MSCI continues to monitor relevant disclosures for potential impact on Foreign Ownership Limits (FOL) applicable to EU and UK companies.

MSCI will provide further communication as necessary.
