UPDATE TO THE METHODOLOGY BOOK FOR THE MSCI AUSTRALIA 200 INDEX

MSCI Inc. (NYSE: MSCI), a leading provider of research-based indexes and
analytics, announced today that the methodology book for the MSCI Australia 200
Index has been extended to include other indexes as listed below.

- MSCI Australian Shares IMI 50 Index
- MSCI Australian Shares IMI 100 Index
- MSCI Australian Shares All Cap 300 Index
- MSCI Australian Shares All Cap 500 Index

Kindly note that there is no change in the methodology for the MSCI Australia
200 Index.
