MSCI ANNOUNCES LAUNCH OF MSCI CHINA A 50 CONNECT RMB INDEX

MSCI Inc. (NYSE: MSCI), a leading provider of research-based indexes and analytics, is pleased to announce the launch of MSCI CHINA A 50 CONNECT RMB INDEX constructed using existing MSCI China A 50 Connect Index Methodology.

The MSCI China A 50 Connect RMB Index is constructed from the MSCI China A 50 Connect Index and has the same constituents as the MSCI China A 50 Connect Index. MSCI China A Connect RMB Index covers only those securities that are accessible through Stock Connect. The MSCI China A 50 Connect RMB Index is calculated using China A local listings based on the onshore RMB exchange rate (CNY). The Index aims to reflect the performance of the 50 largest securities representing each Global Industry Classification Standard (GICS) sector and reflecting the sector weight allocation of the MSCI China A Index.

The Index and constituent levels are now available via standalone access.
