UPCOMING LAUNCH OF MSCI KOREAN SHARES INVESTABLE MARKET INDEX

MSCI Inc. (NYSE: MSCI), a leading provider of research-based indexes and
analytics, is pleased to announce the upcoming launch of the MSCI Korean Shares
Investable Market Index (IMI) on October 14, 2020. The Index is designed to
represent the performance of the Korea domestic equity opportunity set.

The MSCI Korean Shares IMI is based on the MSCI Global Investable Market Indexes
and use the Domestic Inclusion Factor (DIF) as the free-float adjustment factor
for the market capitalization of each security.

The index level data will be available through the MSCI EM/AP Core, the MSCI
Enhanced Index Module/Service and the MSCI Vendor Index Module in addition to
the MSCI web site, msci.com starting October 14, 2020.

Large and Mid-cap index constituents will be available through the MSCI EM/AP
Core Modules and Small-cap index constituents will be available through the MSCI
EM /AP Small Cap Modules starting October 14, 2020.

A technical communication detailing changes to MSCI products and list of files
impacted will be distributed separately.
