THIS IS AN ANNOUNCEMENT FOR THE MSCI GLOBAL STANDARD INDEXES

UPDATE TO THE METHODOLOGY BOOK FOR THE MSCI SRI S-SERIES AND THE MSCI SRI S-SERIES CAPPED INDEXES

MSCI announced today that the methodology book for the MSCI SRI S-Series and the MSCI SRI S-Series Capped Indexes has been updated to reflect additional controversial business involvement criteria and the methodology for the MSCI China Select S-Series 10% Capped Index. The methodology is now available as a standalone methodology book and will no longer be part of the MSCI SRI Indexes Methodology book.

The MSCI SRI Indexes Methodology Book has also been updated accordingly.
